Kirk Freeman isn’t an expert at reproducible disciple making, but he’s unswervingly committed to it — and to helping pastors weave disciple making into the fabric of their church. After pursuing a career as a country music songwriter, he spent a decade in the Christian publishing industry in Nashville and Dallas before graduating from seminary and joining a church staff team, first as Worship Pastor and then as Executive Pastor. In 2002 he and his family moved to San Antonio to plant CrossBridge Community Church, where he has been Lead Pastor for over 20 years. He and his wife, Debbie, met in elementary school and have a growing family of daughters and sons-in-law.
